I'm so glad we found Jane!  Over the past few months Jane's gentle guidance, tailored lessons and continued encouragement has enabled my son to re-engage positively with his English IGSCE  learning. 

Jane has inspired him to read again, reigniting his love of reading.  She has worked with him to strengthen his comprehension and writing skills, increasing his confidence in English and his overall self-esteem.

Navigating the system to obtain an EHCP has been fairly daunting at times. Jane's continued support has been invaluable.   She helped my son write his evidence and personal statements to ensure his voice was heard.  She also sat alongside me during a mediation meeting with the Local Authority in a supportive role. This meeting was successful in its outcome and the Local Authority agreed to assess for an EHCP.

Jane Markovic has been working with my high-functioning autistic son George for two years, supporting him through two child-care courses. In the first year Jane greatly helped him improve his English and, thanks to her very effectve tutoring, he passed the Level 1 course and, now in his second year, he is progressing through Level 2.

Jane is an exceptional tutor. She is very understanding of my son’s challenges and has guided and supported him through the course content in a way that worked perfectly with his abilities. Jane has been very supportive of me and has also liaised well with the headmistress at the local pre-school where he doing his work placement.

Thank you so much for all the help you gave Jonah with his GCSE English. He felt so much more confident going in (and coming out) of his English Literature exams, thanks to the wonderful, bespoke guidance you gave him!

Likewise, in his English Language GCSE paper 1 today, he has come home feeling so much happier than he would have done had he not had the amazing coaching from you over the past year! Thank you so much for all your patience and encouragement.

Jane is an outstanding English Tutor. Jane has taught my 16 year old son English Literature for several years and has delivered the full end to end iGCSE curriculum (as he is home educated due to being dyslexic), and she has helped him to achieve a great GCSE result.

Working through my ideas for my coursework with Jane has helped me to focus my efforts more specifically, while gaining a deeper insight into the text.  Being able to channel my ideas has allowed me to visualise my previous mistakes and learn from them, whereas previously I was unable to see how I could improve. The sessions have greatly improved my analysis skills and have allowed me to put a greater emphasis on multiple interpretations, which has pushed me to improve my grade.”
